SIREWALL World Records
We acknowledge that there are many ways to measure the best modern rammed earth on the planet and here are some:
TALLEST:
  • 30m (100′) tall SIREWALL tower
  • 18.25m (60′) tall SIREWALL stair well
  • 15.5m (51′) tall SIREWALL building spine

Tallest competitor’s wall is 8m (26′).   If anyone knows of a taller wall please inform and we will change this

STRONGEST:

Strongest average strength using no more than 10% cement:

  • Skanska project, Seattle, WA ~50 MPa
  • Van Dusen project, Vancouver, BC  ~42 MPa
  • Lalit Mangar project, Dehi, India  ~30 MPa
  • Average competitor’s strengths are 2 – 7 MPa
LONGEST WALL:
  • Perimeter wall, Telenor 345: 1 km x 3m tall
     
     
STRUCTURAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
  • Deepest back fill:       30′ (9m)
    Many competitors require their rammed earth to sit on a stemwall so it doesn’t even venture below grade.
